We are delighted by the results of TV3's Target program, which went undercover to investigate the service levels of Auckland's taxis and for the 2nd time we have stolen the lime light. In May 2009 we got a 10 out of 10 for the perfect taxi ride and back in 2007, out of 10 taxi companies surveyed in Auckland, only 2 passed! Alert Taxis came out with the highest score, which has thrilled both our call centre team and our drivers. We managed it twice in a row which must mean our service is not only the best but consistent. It's greatly rewarding to see such positive feedback after all the effort we put into our service and drivers. You'll recognise our drivers right away - they're the ones driving around Auckland with their heads held high!

Accurate Vehicle Tracking To Ensure Fast, Efficient Service

When you book a cab, the system knows exactly which taxi is nearest to you.
There is nothing average about our technology. This translates to fast and efficient service for our customers.

The introduction of our mobile data tracking unit, which was developed in Melbourne, has just revolutionalised our fleet. I can honestly say our customers are noticing the difference.
We can tell you your taxi is 1.2 km away, or its at the corner of this and this road and will be with you shortly.
If there is not a car available in the area you are phoning from, the computer will give an instantaneous time of arrival, so we can tell you "a car will be with you in 7 minutes", for example. In this case, the computer has tracked a vehicle but it may be currently occupied, and the computer knows it's going to clear in the next 5 minutes. It knows where the vehicle is traveling to, and it works the distance out, the speed of the car, traveling 50km/h will clear in 7 minutes. It's an incredibly intelligent system.

Our investment into this new technology, which we implemented in July 2007 has already been worth every cent. We're the only taxi company in NZ that has this type of technology, and it's really given us the edge. It's allowed us to track our fleet far more efficiently than other companies.

| A Strict Driver Selection Process Where Only the Best are Selected |
 Our expert driver recruitment program and in-house Training School ensure that only the best are selected. Average just won't do. Our drivers are excellent. They are proud of the brand and enjoy a good level of job satisfaction, which is evident to customers.
 We have approximately 260 drivers plus an additional 60 drivers who operate the company vans for the Air New Zealand cabin crews.
Our drivers are fully qualified and are trained in five area knowledge's, namely Manukau, North Shore, Papakura, Waitakere and Auckland City.
Our drivers look smart in their simple, professional uniforms of white shirt, red company tie, black suit jacket, company jersey, black trousers and dress shoes.
Our drivers speak excellent English. We also have drivers who speak Korean, Samalian, Pacific Islanders, Maoris, Dutch, Irish and Chinese.
We have a mixture of company employed drivers and owner /drivers who own their own car and business.

We go the extra mile with our cars. We provide a nice tidy product, a universal product, and the same product all the time.
